Through images of a woman kneeling, weeping, floating, the series gives form to an inward pressure moving through the body, a state currently being navigated. The slow, repetitive act of stitching becomes a way of grounding a drift without clear direction and the invisible weight it carries.
A series of small-scale prints centered on the image of a dress. Reflecting a sense of shrinking and feeling barely there, the dress stands uninhabited, holding the outline of something no longer visible.
Inspired by the ‘right to dry’, this exhibition explores how everyday acts, like hanging laundry, reveal the quiet systems that shape our freedom and identity. This body of works reflects on exposure, control, and vulnerability within the blurred boundaries of public and private space.

about
I am an Istanbul-based artist working across textiles, printmaking, and installation. Originally trained in fashion, my work has gradually shifted toward exploring the female body and its layered cultural and symbolic meanings. The body serves as a site for personal and collective narratives, offering a space to engage with the subtle dimensions of human experience.
I previously lived and worked in London, where I lectured at Morley College London, and earlier taught at the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow. My work has been exhibited internationally, including the finalist exhibition of the Bilbao International Art and Fashion (BIAAF) competition, the London Contemporary Art Fair at Elements Contemporary Art Space, the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, exhibitions at the Washroom and Boomer Gallery in London, and the Nagornaya Gallery in Moscow, among others.
